☆ Well, sorry for not updating for the past week. I've been SUPER busy, and still am. D:
☆ I'm pretty much swamped in terms of school, plus I'm also trying to get mine AND my boyfriend's matching Halloween costumes done by this Friday >_<;; I'm also planning out a party for my school's Asian club for Friday, and working on my officer duties for math team... And I'm also fundraising for math team, working on college applications, working on my portfolio, AND trying to actually get a decent amount of sleep... none of which are working out very well.
☆ This past week nothing of extreme significance really happened, but over the weekend I went to the Senior+family event at school that I got my new dress for. It was pretty fun and the food was good. I ended up introducing my boyfriend and his parents to my grandparents and well... I guess it went off okay. My boyfriend really should watch his language and choice of conversation when my grandparents are sitting nearby though (that's not totally his fault either... one of our friends sat by us and kind of started it <_< )
☆ I also had a math meet, which I did pretty well at. ^_^ Third highest score on our team out of ten! :D
☆And of course I worked on my Halloween costume... which I have underestimated the difficulty for, very much. =_=;; Hopefully it should be done by Friday though.
☆ Hopefully.
☆ But I suppose I should go back to planning out the party stuff for Friday so it's out of the way.
☆ Alright! Gotta keep going! >_< Time to go back to being an over-energetic maniac so I can make it through another week!
(at school right now, so no video D: )

Don't Say "Lazy"
☆ Well, Saturday was a pretty busy day. I spent the evening working on my English essay and I tried to do physics but it confused the heck out of me.
☆ The next morning my parents and I got up and went downtown to look for a dress for me for a school event coming up. I found a very nice green one that I like a lot. It was kid of pricey, though, but it's very nice and worth the cost, and I'm probably going to wear it at least a few more times (2+) in the future, so it's a good investment I suppose.
☆ I also picked up a book I needed for English class and got the first volume of the Hetalia manga. <3 Sadly I haven't gotten the chance to read it yet, but when I do I'm sure it will be absolutely fabulous.
☆ It was also my boyfriend's birthday, but sadly I didn't get to spend it with him. D: However, it DID get me the chance to pick up some awesome presents for him. I got him a Double Rainbow t-shirt, a CD of the best songs of Studio Ghibli movies, a singing birthday card, and I also baked him a bunch of brownies. <3 I hope he likes it! I just gave it to him this morning... (Sadly because of today's school schedule, I don't see him again until after school D: )
☆ After that we got shaved ice. <3 I have bubble gum creme soda with ice cream... bubble gum was a bit too strong, but the creme soda flavor was totally perfecto and complimented the ice cream well.
☆ Then after THAT we headed to the fabric store so I could pick up fabric for the cosplay I'm working on for Halloween for me and my boyfriend. My mom said she's going to help me work on it after school this week and Sunday, since I've got a math meet and the school event is on Saturday. Mom and dad have a parent-school meeting to go to tonight, though, so idk how well that's going to work out tonight.
☆ As for how my homework turned out, I think my English essay is rather confusing at some points since I finished it up while half asleep. And physics... I don't want to think about. My grade is already low, but now I'm just getting the heck confused out of me... I'm going to probably eat a fast lunch and then figure out what to do, because I just can't figure out how to use the computer program we got for our labs (I pretty much understand the rest... but that's like, the ONLY major thing bothering me. >_<;; )
☆ Well, I have half an hour left until English, so I'm gonna head out and work on that. Might as well try to get rid of the icky stuff now so I can enjoy the movie next period~
(sorries, but I can't access videos from the school internet. D:

I'm Alive
☆ Well, somehow.
☆ So yesterday I had my non-math day at school: history, art, and english.
☆In history class we had a test... I think I did all right, except for the second part where we had to do a timeline. I messed up the order after #3, which threw off everything up until #8... so I probably lost a TON of points... At least I think the multiple choice section went okay. We also got our new reading packets that we need to start on, and I'm planning on reading as much as I can of it this weekend.
☆ Art class was next, we're working on our "theme" projects. Basically we're doing FIVE pieces all revolving around the same thing. My group in class has two junior girls, and one is doing the theme "quirky people" and another is doing "faces", which is basically drawings of expressive faces in very strange places... I'm doing "mysterious city".
☆ I created a very simple story concept: A young girl is lost and finds herself in an empty city filled with strange architecture and dark magic, so she decides to explore. My first piece is an 18" by 14" on illustration board. It's a drawing of the girl on an empty street, in front of a glass building. She feels like there's something behind her, but is too scared to turn around, so she just hugs herself as she stands on the sidewalk, unsure of what to do. Meanwhile, her shadowy reflection is attempting to grab onto her, but finds it can't because they exist on two different planes. The glass also reflects the buildings across the street... I'm gonna have so much fun with the architecture. ;3
☆ Okay, so maybe the concept isn't so simple... but it'll definitely be fun to draw! ;D
☆ Then in English we took yet ANOTHER test, this time on the book we just finished reading, Stardust, We're going to watch the movie in class next week! ^_^ I hear it's really good so I'm excited!
☆ I've also got a three-page essay on the book due Monday... I need to choose between writing about how the concept of destiny is applied in the story OR what the "true" major theme of the story is, and how the author tried to stress it throughout the novel. I'm probably going to do the destiny one, though, since it's more open-ended and I can write more about it.
☆ To conclude the day, my boyfriend <3 walked with me to math team practice, and after majorly screwing up in geometry, logic, and ratios (I was having a REALLY off afternoon) I ate pizza with my teammates for dinner and my parents picked me up. On the way home, we stopped at the bakery to get pastries for breakfast the next day, and sweet potato tapioca for dessert. :3
☆ Then this morning my day got me up early since I had community service with my friends. We drove about 10 miles to the stream me and my friends were cleaning up. All I can say is: hard. work.
☆ Seriously. We worked clearing the area of dried, rotting wood and evasive species of ferns for about 3 hours straight. The lady in charge REALLY worked us hard. XD While at the stream, I pointed out, "OH MY GOD A GIANT ROCK... IT'S A ROCK AND IT'S GIANT" to my friends, but sadly no one I was with watches Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged so I was kinda lonely with the quotes. D: Also, there were lots of bugs, but for some reason none of them bit me, while a lot of my friends got bit! Weird. Maybe quoting YGOTAS is a magical bug-spray spell? :D
☆ After we were done, the cold bottle of water I had to drink afterward felt sooooo gooooood. Then we ate some Taco Bell for lunch, my dad and mom picked me up, and I headed home with my parents so I could take a shower and be clean again, because I got covered with dirt
☆ Then my parents fell asleep and I checked my email and here I am. ;D
☆ But now it's time to do homework, because I have a very busy day tomorrow, shopping for a dress for an upcoming school event, working on my Halloween costume, and buying my boyfriend a birthday present. So I shall write more later, but for now, adieu mon amie~

A Rock and... Another Rock
☆ I'm caught between a rock and another rock. I know the saying goes "a rock and a hard place", but really, it's pretty much the same outcome whatever I choose.
☆ To make a long story short, I've started... falling behind. No, it's not because of this blog. In fact, I like this blog, because it takes me about ten minutes to write an entry and to upload it.
☆ No, it's just because it's the second quarter of senior year, and I'm trying to make deadlines for college apps and scholarships and blah and blah and blah... but that's quite hard to do when I'm still busy juggling 6 classes. I got into trouble today with a teacher for not doing a worksheet I needed to do for homework, and I skipped lunch to complete an assignment for another class... which I turned in incomplete.
☆ I don't really know what to start cutting out of my life. I have to do a minimum of 2 to 3 hours of exercise per week on my own time for PE (yeah, I have to come and check in and everything... a convenient, yet still time consuming type of PE program my school has...). Then I also need to get about 7 to 9 hours of sleep per night since I'm always really tired... I've started cutting back on my anime and TV time, and I don't really think I can cut back on art because I need to keep up my skills for my portfolio...
☆ Well, whatever. I'm aware I'm overreacting just a bit, and I'm sure this is going to blow over soon.
☆ Onto how my day went without being so vague:
☆ I went to both of my math classes and took a test in Calc. Bleh. EVERYONE in class thought it was difficult, even the smartest kids... that makes me worried slightly. I also worked on my physics lab in class, and that was kind of boring, but I think I understand the concepts now, and I've got a good chunk of the graphs and charts done (about a third are completed, and considering this is the first major lab of the year, I think that's a good sign. ^_^ )
I ended up skipping lunch to study for the test I mentioned earlier, and to finish working on homework. During my free period I bought a spicy kim chee noodle bowl from the orchestra kids who were fundraising and ate that. I also bought a brownie, which I shared with my boyfriend and one of my friends after school.
☆ Overall it was an OKAY day... oh, except for when mom saw the D+ I have in physics. =_= In my defense, I turned in a lab that SHOULD have brought my grade back up to a C... but for some reason it didn't even though I got a 10/10 on it... >_>;; Yeah... I'm gonna go talk to my teacher about that when I see him next week...
☆ I've got two As, one A-, and two B-s in my other classes... so yeah... that physics grade is just weird. >_>;;
☆ Anyway, it's almost dinner, and we're having Korean BBQ (I get milk tea <3 Yay!) so I should head off, and then work on writing my English report and filling out college apps. I'll talk more later. <3

Boyfriend, K-pop, Math Homework
☆ So, I happen to have a boyfriend... yep.
☆ I guess there's no way for me to exactly summarize what he's like... he's loud, but polite, and he can be forgetful, but he works hard, and he's sensitive, and he knows how to make me feel better when I'm sad about something... and even all of that doesn't really describe the exact person he is.
☆ Well, the reason I'm writing about him is because a lot has happened between us lately, and I've had to question what exactly our relationship is... it's pretty personal, but I think I've come to a conclusion at the end of the day: I like him. I love him. I may not know if I love him as a person, or as a high school boyfriend, or as someone I could spend my entire life with, but I know I love him as my best friend, and I enjoy spending time together with him as a couple.
☆ And I've decided that for now, no matter what happens, I'm going to try to stop focusing so much on all the little details and just enjoy how our lives are right now.
☆ I know that probably sounded mature or something, but trust me, I'm not that mature. I just think about things, sometimes to the point of over-analyzing them, which is bad... I need to learn when to stop myself, sometimes. >_<''
☆ In other news, I found a TV station that plays the latest, popular Korean pop music performances. ^_^ Shinee's Lucifer = <3<3<3!!! It made me so happy last night when I got to watch it after dinner.
☆ So today I did some community service, putting up Halloween decorations and posters at a local library. It was fun, but because of this I procrastinated on my calculus, physics, and other math homework. >_<'' So now I've got two pages of calculus, a logic worksheet, a ratio worksheet, a geometry worksheet, and a physics lab that's going to take me at least an hour, all do tomorrow...
☆ See? I told you I wasn't mature.
☆ Well... I've also got some other online obligations, and not to mention I hold officer positions in two clubs/teams at school, so I need to organize a workshop for next week and some other such obligations and duties... Then there's also college applications and essays and working on my art portfolio... ugh...
☆ I really should get started before the stress gets to me... At least I've got videos of cute animals to keep me optimistic. <3

Daddy-Daughter Day : D
☆ So yesterday I didn't update because I was spending the last day of my break with my dad since we both had the day off. <3
☆ First we stopped by the school because I accidentally forgot some important worksheets in my locker. >.<;; Whoops. Then after that we headed to a nearby shopping center to pick up some stuff we needed from Walgreens. I also got original flavored Calpico (which I've never had before, I've only tried strawberry and mango). And I have to say: IT TASTES AMAZING. Nothing like I've ever tried before. Like some kind of yummy fruit juice. <3 Which is misleading, because I totally thought it would taste like milk! Still, it's a pleasant surprise.
☆ Following that we picked up bentos to eat for lunch. My dad got mochiko chicken and beef, and I got yakisoba and spicy garlic chicken. We also picked up garlic chicken and beef for my mom, and I got a taro bubble tea too! ^.^ It was delish! We also stopped at the pet shop to get koi pellets. <3
☆ We dropped off my mom's lunch and ate ours under a tree at the gardens in our neighborhood. There was a little bit of trouble with picnic ants, but nothing too major. After lunch we went over to the koi pond where I threw in some koi pellets and my dad took pictures of the fish and ducks. I also got some good shots as well, but I ended up spending most of my time fending off the stupid doves that kept crowding around me, wanting to eat the koi pellets I dropped on the ground. =_= I fed them a little, but after that I shooed them away like a little kid because there was like a crowd of 30 around me and they wouldn't leave me alone until I chased them. XD
☆ After that we went to the stream and crossed (even though there was a "keep out" sign... heh. Well, I didn't see it until afterward anyway... it's kinda hidden behind a bush) so we could look at the fossil deposits on the other bank and my dad could collect samples for the research paper he's writing. ^_^ I found a few shell fragments too! ;D I HELP. YAY. I also started taking some pictures of the flora for my college portfolio, but my camera died on me. D': I should have remembered to charge it...
☆ Then once we'd collected enough samples, my dad and I headed to another store to get the rest of the stuff we needed to for the house, and I bought some colorful hair bands and new hair clips (my old one broke D': ) since they were pretty cheap. I practiced doing my hair like bubzbeauty's tutorial on how to do a hairstyle similar to Sunny's hair from the SNSD Girls Generation music video. It turned out pretty cute. ^_^ I even got a few compliments this morning. <3
☆ Well, currently I'm still at school, and it's my free period, so I've been typing this to relieve stress. Since I'm at school, that also means no current video today, since YouTube is blocked and Veoh is being dumb D': Anyway, not much is really going on right now, but tomorrow is the day that all the seniors at our school do volunteer work in the community instead of classes, so that should be fun! <3 On the plus side, NO CLASS AND SOMETHING TO PUT ON MY COLLEGE APPS. On the downside, I might have to do yardwork depending on the activity I'm picked for. D: Well, wish me luck for when I get picked tomorrow...

ショッピング〜!!!
☆ Well, yesterday things actually got a bit interesting a few hours after I just came on to post that I was bored. My mom (who had been working at a trade show for her company over in the next town that morning) came back home because she had a few hours off while another employee watched the booth. When she went back, my dad and I ended up going with her because that way I could help her take the equipment back to her job and my dad could drive, since she was really tired).
☆ It was in the late afternoon, so my dad and I killed time by going to a nearby shopping center, which had a GameStop. I had been telling him about Pokemon Black&White and he actually asked the sales person if he could buy it. XD And I had to tell him "Dad, it's not out yet... but it DOES come out around my birthday! Just saying!" I looked for a Professor Layton game and an Ace Attorney Phoenix Wright game, but unfortunately, none exist anywhere near where I live, apparently. D:
☆ Dammit, I just lost. DDDDD':
☆ At least I was able to get a Yu-Gi-Oh! GX game for the DS that's pretty cheap, called "Spirit Caller" I played a bit of it last night and it's pretty good, though it does take a while to get the hang of it... What upsets me most is that there's no way to change your character to a girl! That's SO unfair! D:
☆ Well, after our time at GameStop was over, we bought dinner, dropped off a plate of fried noodles for my mom, and then ate the afformentioned dinner. My dad had ahi katsu (fried tuna) and I had a mixed plate with curry, grilled chicken, and grilled beef. We ate and drank our Pepsi, and then went into Borders. My dad went off somewhere else to look at books, and I headed straight to the manga and comics section.
☆ Luckily they carried volume 3 of Amazing Agent Luna, which I'd never gotten the chance to read, so I picked it up for a bit. I also tried looking at this yaoi book (don't judge me) but I ended up not liking it very much at all because the art wasn't that great and the storyline was kind of hard to follow. I put it back before I was even half done with it. Following that, I looked at a few other books, but none of them were really good enough for me to remember the name.
☆ I ended up getting Special A volume 14, though now I kind of wish I'd bought more...
☆ Mom finished up work after that so we loaded up everything into the car, drove to her job, and dropped it off before going to get ice cream. In all honesty, I can say that I'm NEVER going back to that ice cream shop. Not only did the girl give me the wrong flavor, but she also just sat around doing nothing even though the tables were all dirty and we had to go eat our ice cream outside. Then as we left she sat down on the only clean table and starting smoking and talking to her boyfriend on her cell phone... geez. Bad service is kind of an understatement here!
☆ Got home, changed into my pajamas, and Special A was so good that I ended up reading it straight through before playing a bit more of my Yu-Gi-Oh! game and falling asleep.
☆ It's about 10:40 in the morning now, so I guess I should go eat something and then start working on the Physics and Calculus homework I have due. I finished English already (YAY!) but I'm also worried about history because I can't find my reading packet that we've got a test on this Tuesday... I think I might have left it at school! DX UH OH.
☆ Guess I'll just have to go through all of my books again and hope there was something that I missed... >_< Time to cross my fingers...

Gawd My Life is Boring ATM...
☆ For serious. The biggest things I'm doing right now are applying to colleges (why are the essays always the hardest part?) and wondering how long it's going to take me to train my Pokemon team so I can beat the Elite Four and they can STOP STEALING MY MONIES. (Current team line up is Quagsire, Ampharos, Meganium, Butterfree, Kadabra, and Seel *who hopefully will evolve to Dewgong soon*) Gosh, I'm such a n00b when it comes to Pokemon. Now WAY this game is gonna be finished before Black & White comes out... I think I'm still gonna get Black anyway, though.
☆ But back to the real world...
☆ I still have nothing remotely interesting to talk about on this blog... starting to question why I even made it in the first place. I guess it was partially boredom, but I guess I also wanted somewhere to write about things... like a diary. Well, not really. Actually, you know, I think it's just boredom. And hormones. Because I'm still a teenager, so I've still got that excuse left in me for a couple more years, right?
☆ At least I can be happy that Malinda-chan has FINALLY updated her YouTube channel despite her busy schedule. <3 Watching her videos always makes me super uber happy!

Senior Year...
☆ Could it be any more stressful?
☆ I mean, I seriously feel like I'm just running around in circles, making no progress... and then in another minute, I feel like I can accomplish anything. Emotions are just flying up and down and front and back and all over the place. My friends all have the same issues, or worse, to handle too, so I guess I shouldn't complain. It's probably just our hormones or something.
☆ But whatever. I really don't want to turn this into another "WAHWAHMYLIFESUCKSIMASTEREOTYPICALTEENAGERBOOHOOME" blog.
☆ ...what was I even going to talk about again?
☆ ...at least it's fall break. Hopefully I'll be able to make this a productive one, too, instead of just spending time catching up on sleep, and then even MORE time sleeping when I don't need it. I really don't want to majorly regret any of the things I do in life, but I think I'm starting to regret that I've spent most of my past breaks doing just that.
☆ I learned how to make neopolitan spaghetti a couple days ago. It was really fun and I just ate the last of it today. Now excuse me while I go work on some break homework and college essays and ultimately end up procrastinating and playing Pokemon HeartGold (damn Elite Four... always beating me and then taking my money).
